Through our participatory mechanisms, we distribute resources for movement-led crisis prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts, as well as political imagination beyond crises.
We mobilise donor communities and put CEECCNA regions on the funders' map. We advocate for more and better funding and offer funders an alternative infrastructure for safely moving resources to the regional intersectional movements.
We nurture cross-regional exchange and knowledge production, enable collective strategizing among organizers and funders, and enhance critical movement infrastructure for movement resilience.
We support intersectional social justice organising led by historically and currently excluded communities and regional migrant and diasporic activists working for social justice in and for the CEECCNA regions.
Acknowledging the historical and ongoing complexities of forcible exile, displacement, and dislocation of peoples within the regions, we support political organizing led by regional migrant and diasporic activists working for social justice in the CEECCNA regions.
In particular, our Resource Distribution is designed to support organisations, collectives, networks, and initiatives that work at the intersection of various movements, issues, and strategies that are critical in their contexts.
With participatory movement-guided decision-making, the constellation of advisory communities has supported the Dalan Fund since its inception, ensuring that our grantmaking strategies and tactics are driven by frontline activists in close proximity to the communities we serve.
