Viktoriya is a human rights practitioner and grantmaking and operations professional from Ukraine, with over 15 years of experience supporting civil society organizations, donor-funded programs, and grassroots initiatives. A core strength of her work is a deep understanding of the full grant cycle from both the financial and compliance perspectives and the programming and implementation side. She has worked as a Chief Accountant in an LGBTQI+ organization, as well as a Grant and Project Manager in charitable foundations and Ukraine’s independent public broadcaster UA: PBC, allowing her to combine financial accountability with programming goals and support grantees in a clear yet humane manner.
Viktoriya has been deeply engaged in feminist and LGBTQI+ activism since her early years in Lviv, which shaped her long-term commitment to human rights and civic engagement. She is trained in Nonviolent Communication, conflict transformation, and mediation, and applies care-based and trust-oriented approaches in her work. She also facilitates peer-support spaces and contributes to training caregivers working with people who are living with dementia.
Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Viktoriya actively contributed to humanitarian response, bringing her skills in fundraising, grant writing, project management, and emergency coordination. She is certified as a Training of Trainers (ToT) facilitator in WASH Cross-Cutting Issues. She is currently based in Lviv, Ukraine, and continues to work at the intersection of grantmaking, operations, human rights, and care for civil society initiatives.
