Anna Dovgopol is an intersectional feminist, project manager, and gender expert from Kyiv, Ukraine. She has over 20 years of managerial and program experience in the nonprofit sector in Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, having worked in the fields of human rights, HIV/AIDS, women, and LGBTQI+ movements in CSOs and in international organizations and foundations.
For the past three years, she worked as a Women Lead in Emergencies Advisor at CARE Ukraine, focusing on developing collective women leadership in war-affected communities. Previously, she was the Gender Democracy Program Coordinator at Heinrich Boell Foundation in Ukraine, responsible for grant-making to local CSOs, where she was also one of the founders of the Gender in Detail web resource.
She is also a gender expert and a trainer on gender, sexuality, and social justice issues. Anna holds an MA in Gender Studies from CEU (Budapest, Hungary) and a BA in American Studies/Translation from AUCA (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).
